Manchester or Leeds (1 day a week in the Leeds office for either location)

The Account Manager will be joining a leading integrated agency who are looking to add an experienced client service led professional to their CS team. You will be instrumental in delivering world class experiences for 2 key brands. You will have the chance to work on international brands and projects as well as have the opportunity to travel to client locations. Acting as the go between for the client and the internal agency teams across creative and production, you'll be a key player in making sure communication and relationships stay at the forefront of the project life cycle.  

Areas of responsibility:

  • Build and develop good relationships with clients and wider stakeholders, acting as the primary day to day contact.
  • Understand client’s objectives and challenges and development of market insight to support with planning and creative process.
  • Ensure an appropriate level of senior strategic or creative input, both in projects and at meetings.
  • Responsible for successful interpretation of client brief into great creative and then successfully present creative output, ensuring senior sign off.
  • Management of updated work in progress and status reports internally and externally.
  • Manage budgets ensuring work is delivered within budget and on time, using Synergist to inform planning.
  • Ensure day to day updates to internal financial processes are completed including unbilled, weekly forecast and timesheets.
  • Planning and organising schedules for all work going through the agency, working with other Account Managers to support peaks and troughs.
  • Ensure that all elements of the Agency products are delivered with accuracy, to brief and at the highest quality to ensure we are being strategically and creatively brilliant.
  • Have a clear understanding of the agency’s offering and be competent and proactive in selling all agency services.
  • Lead by example by working with internal platforms (e.g. Synergist) and agency processes.
  • Ensure your team meets regularly (including in person) to facilitate effective team relationships, knowledge sharing and workflow.

 

The Account Manager will need to have at least 3 years agency experience and ideally have exposure to the retail sector or retail based clients, understand the ever changing and adaptable landscape of the retail space and agency life. This is an opportunity to really foster relationships with 2 particular key accounts, international brands and the chance to work on site and visit on a semi-regular bases in Germany and Poland. You will help to drive the brand and their connection to the agency and it's teams, particularly the Creative and Production teams. 

You'll have the chance to work closely with creative, photo-shoots and video shoots, so experience in this would also be a huge benefit.
