Their carefully selected team of highly qualified technology experts support clients' success by providing technical analysis, tailored strategies and solutions, as well as providing exciting customer-facing user experiences. They are currently recruiting a number of exciting positions to join their Risk and Fraud Team.
Job description
The Euro Trader will be asked to operate sports betting for a variety of events. The person must have good team working skills and must be detailed and analytical regarding Line and Risk Management and customers’ wagering activity.
Responsibilities:
• Understanding of operations for matches and markets, Pre-Match, In Play and Props across a range of sports. Ability to perform a range of shift duties across these areas.
• Adjusting odds and lines for Euro Sports in accordance with the Global Trading Policy and for the maximization of performance in the long term. Unless unavoidable (due to interruption or major error), feeds should remain operational and our full suite of tools used to achieve aims and/or directives from senior colleagues.
•Analysing sources, wagers, profiles and information to swiftly spot areas where our offering needs to be corrected.
• Entering results and checking feed accuracy, adding/checking events, event titles and notes.
• Up to 2 hours of solo Live Tracker Watch shifts per day, monitoring all Live bets across all Sports that fall under the Euro Department. Track incoming bets and use them to facilitate accurate decisions in real time.
• Develop the ability to apply profiling techniques. • Monitoring our website, forums, social media and communications from internal partners (such as customer withdrawals function) to assist with group operations.
• Working collaboratively within the Euro team and the wider group to facilitate the best outcome for the group and our customers.
• Any other tasks required by Management.
• As your experience grows and your performance improves, you may be assigned to work on more high profile tasks or to improve own working standards in support of team leads.
Primary Duty:
• You will be assigned to either the Soccer, Golf, e-Sports, ROW teams. Primary role may be changed to suit individual or business with at least one month’s notice given
• One of the teams looks after the following aspects – Racebook, Pre and Live Basketball (except USA and E-Basket), Table Tennis, Badminton, Gaelic Sports, Rugby Union, Rugby League, Volleyball, Australian Rules & Cycling.
• You are expected to be able to deliver opinions and value to company to improve our offering, our policies and our procedures.
• You should be capable of testing basic new releases/services that will directly impact your primary area.
• If given responsibility for a sub-section of your primary area, you are expected to demonstrate care, diligence and both operational & technical expertise in your management of that area.
• Within selected sports, you must be able to perform all duties as requested to a high level within 3 months of role starting.
• You must develop an in-depth knowledge of the sport, including our own betting rules, the rules and norms of the sport itself, and a day-to-day ingestion/use of news related to the sport.
• When needed, you should demonstrate sufficient skill in odds compilation to create odds for Props, and to detect errors within our own offering and in the market.
• You must always adhere to the latest version of the Global Profiling Guidelines.
• You are expected to understand profiling concepts in your study of customer behaviour and their wagering activity.
• Your decision making should guarantee that no client goes undetected for the wider group - that all uncategorized/incorrectly categorized players are either re-profiled or escalated to senior colleagues quickly.
Job requirements
• Availability for a flexible work schedule is required, which may include weekends and varying shifts. The standard hours range from 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM, with the majority of shifts being in the morning or standard hours. Evening shifts will primarily be required for holiday coverage. The specific schedule will be determined based on business needs.
• The selected candidate will be eligible for a discretionary bonus plan of 40% of their base salary. The bonus is subject to company performance, individual targets, and achievement of key objectives (OKRs). This has the potential to rise to 80% if all stretch targets are reached.
